Signing of MoU between MOROCCO FOODEX and Swisscontact for Sustainable International Trade
A highlight of the SIPPO Import Promotion Forum, that took place in Lausanne/Switzerland in June this year was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between MOROCCO FOODEX and Swisscontact.
This agreement formalizes a collaboration aimed at promoting Moroccan origins and supporting Moroccan companies in accessing the Swiss and European markets.
The signing was attended by Mrs. Ghita EL GHORFI, Director of MFX, Mr. El Mehdi El Alami, Director of Promotion and Development, Mrs. Amina ACHEMLAL, Counselor at the Moroccan Embassy in Bern, Mr. Martin Saladin, Head of Operations at SECO, Mr. Clément Graf, Head of Programme at SIPPO, Mr. Benjamin Lang, Swisscontact Director Global Programmes, Mr. Marco Kraeuchi, Global Program Manager at SECO, and Mr. Karim EL Haoud, SIPPO Representative in Morocco.
During the Import Promotion Forum participants also had the chance to visit leading Swiss companies, discovering best practices in innovation and sustainability, as well as traceability initiatives.
