Peruvian natural ingredients for the cosmetics industry are showcased at the InCosmetics fair in Paris.
SIPPO Peru collaborated with PROMPERÚ in participating with a national stand at the InCosmetics fair, which was attended by 10 Peruvian companies specializing in natural ingredients for the cosmetics industry.
The capital of fashion and luxury, Paris, becomes the epicenter of innovation in the cosmetics industry with the celebration of the InCosmetics fair. This event serves as a showcase for the latest trends and advancements in the cosmetics and personal care industry, and this year has witnessed Peru's prominent role, presenting its rich biodiversity.
Essential and vegetable oils from Peru, such as buriti (aguaje), palo santo, moringa, copaiba, Brazil nut, sacha inchi, dragon's blood, muña, have been the center of attention at InCosmetics. Additionally, ingredients such as capoazu butters, vanilla extracts, and tara gum have sparked great interest among visitors.
With the support of SIPPO, Peru has presented its biodiversity offer to buyers from leading cosmetics brands, formulators, and laboratories, who have recognized the high quality of Peruvian products and their moisturizing, nourishing, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. The presence of renowned brands such as Aromazone, L'Oréal, Biocosmetic, and Technature at the Peruvian stand demonstrates the growing interest in natural ingredients from Peru.
In the Sustainability Zone of InCosmetics, Peruvian ingredients were highlighted by three companies. Candela Perú especially showcased buriti; Primegreen introduced moringa oil to the public; and Pebani showcased the benefits of dragon's blood. All three presented the Amazon and the communities they work with.
In addition to participating in the InCosmetics fair, Peruvian companies had the opportunity to explore Paris's main cosmetics boutiques, thanks to an initiative organized by Promperu France in collaboration with SIPPO. This experience allowed company representatives to closely observe the latest trends in cosmetics and establish key contacts in the industry.
